body. If he has made his consciousness like that of a cat or dog, he is
sure to change to a cat’s or dog’s body. And if he has fixed his con-
sciousness on godly quali es, he will change into the form of a demi-
god.And if he is in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he will be transferred to
Kṛṣṇaloka in the spiritual world and will associate with Kṛṣṇa. It is a
false claim that a er the annihila on of this body everything is finished.
The individual soul is transmigra ng from one body to another, and his
present body and present ac vi es are the background of his next
body. One gets a different body according to karma, and he has to quit
this body in due course. It is stated here that the subtle body, which car-
ries the concep on of the next body, develops another body in the next
life. This process of transmigra ng from one body to another and strug-
gling while in the body is called karṣa , or struggle for existence.” (Bg
      13.8)

One works very hard for sense gra fica on due to embracing the ma-
terial concep on of life. This invariably leads to misery. As there is the
law of gravity, there is also another law of material existence: “the
more one is addicted to material pleasures, the more he is entrapped
by material miseries (Bg 5.22 –purport).” There are so many living ex-
amples of this law of nature: MarilynMonroe, Harvey Weinstein, Ma
Lauer, Representa ve John Conyers and all the other infinite number
of living en es past and present duped by the allure of material sense
gra fica on. The Bhagavad-gita states:

karmaṇaḥ sukṛtasyāhuḥ / sā vikaṁ nirmalaṁ phalam
rajasas tu phalaṁ duḥkham / ajñānaṁ tamasaḥ phalam (Bg 14.16)

“The result of pious ac on is pure and is said to be in the mode of good-
ness. But ac on done in the mode of passion results in misery, and ac-
on performed in the mode of ignorance results in foolishness.”

The cult of the body prac ced by the materialists requires many ar fi-
cial and unnecessary accoutrements that complicate life such as lip-
s ck, high heals, breast enhancement, plas c surgery, Viagra, etc. Any
ac vity performed under the spell of passion and lust will result in mis-
ery and mental disturbance. Becoming a racted to so many unwanted
things for enhancement of sense gra fica on will waste physical
