a saintly person, leads to the path of liberation, even if
            performed without knowledge.” (SB. 3.23.55)

The difference between a woman, who is considered less
intelligent, and a woman who is spiritually enlightened
and a great example for society to follow is given by
Devahuti. She is speaking the truth about materialistic
women as opposed to spiritual women who are capable of
leading society on the path of spiritual emancipation. The
turning point in her life was the decision to associate with
her husband for spiritual enlightenment rather than sense
gratification. If a woman is not fortunate enough to be
married with a spiritually elevated husband like Kardama
Muni, then she (along with her husband preferably) should
seek out an advanced, saintly devotee(s) and associate for
            spiritual advancement.

satisfied by this explanation and has continued to study and
read Srila Prabhupada’s books. We cannot convince others
unless we are convinced ourselves. What has happened
after the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada is that certain
persons are trying to redefine Srila Prabhupada and His
teachings through the prism of modern academia and
political correctness. Rather than seek to debunk a pure
devotee, one should examine carefully the statements and
