Devotees conducted the Srila Prabhuapda Lilamra-
ta Reading Marathon from July to August 2013

Farm at Redmond started – there are several operating
flower beds, vegetable gardens growing Zuccini, pumpkins, and
other vegetables. The special attraction is a couple of goats. Two
calfs are on their way from Mexico. An experimental wood stove
project is underway.

Rama Vijaya and Dasara Celebration October 13th from
5:30 to 9 p.m.. Grand Vijayadashami celebrations, commemorat-
ing the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana were conducted.

Vegetarian Seminar for kids - Sept 29th 4:30 p.m. to 6
p.m. Vraja Bhakti mataji and team conducted this event outlining
benefits of being vegetarian in spiritual progress to kids of all ages

Organic Farming seminar:
HG Tapanuga Prabhu’s Organic Farming presentation was on Sept
13th - 7:30-9:00pm, Saturday Sep 14th 10:00-11:30am: H.G
Tapahpunja Prabhu has been a leading voice in the local foods
movement since 1969. Raised on his grandfather's farm in Northern
Michigan, he was initiated by Srila Prabhupada in 1974 in New Vrin-
daban. He launched ISKCONS's first active Food For Life project,
distributing hot prasadam meals to Wheeling, West Virginia poor
neighborhoods in 1982, and then went on to pioneer a first of it's
kind, federally funded ($20.000), all vegetarian Meals-on-Wheels
project in Cleveland, Ohio's inner-city. As Project Director for the
Small Farm Training Center in New Vrindaban Community, he
teaches organic farming and gardening to student apprentices from
March through September. His urban outreach project called "Green
Wheeling Alive," was awarded $88,000 in private foundation grants
in 2012. Tapahpunja's essays include: "The No Harm Farm," The
Stepping Stones to Real Cow Protection, "Bad Karma Is Not Sus-
tainable." and Toolbox for Building a Green Congregation." Check
