I am Narayana, the bull. My forefathers were from pious Gujarat in India. The breeding area of
my forefathers includes Amreli, Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Rajkot districts of Gujarat. My breed is named
after the Gyr forest. Gyr cows and bulls were brought to Brazil from India and later came up to Mexico and
then to Texas. I was born in Texas. I made the long 2500 mile journey from Texas to Seattle on a trailer

traveling 65 miles an hour. I have a hump that captures solar energy to make my urine and dung very
powerful. The female Gyr cow uniquely produces small quantities of pure gold in her urine. Our dung

and urine are used to make wonderful compost and bio-gas for heating and cooking.
