us from all our sins. “Ven” means sin and “Kat” means one who delivers. We 
remain in this world suffering birth aer birth because of our sinful acvies 
and the reacons we incur for them. The present age, characterized by hypoc-
risy and quarrel, is a  period of me when people become easily addicted to 
sinful acvies such as intoxicaon, gambling and philosophical speculaon, 
illicit sex and meat-eang. When Tirupa Balaji is referred to as Ven-
kateshwara it indicates that he delivers the suffering masses from sinful acvi-
es. Once  purified of sinful acvies, people become free to focus their aen-
on to serving God, finish their miserable sojourn in the material world and 
return to the spiritual world.   
Why Tirupa Balaji appeared in this age of hypocrisy 
and quarrel  

Five thousand years ago in a forest called Naimisharanya in North India, a 
large gathering of sages asked the most prominent saint named Suta Goswami 
to tell the story of the incarnaon of Lord Balaji that would appear in the fu-
ture. He narrated the following.  
Once a liberated saintly  personality named Narada Muni (muni means sage), 
who could travel at will through interstellar space, visited Brahma at his abode 
called Brahmaloka which is the highest material planet in this universe. Brah-
ma is the grandsire and chief administrator of the enre material universe. He 
previously received the knowledge from  Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personali-
ty of Godhead who is the origin and creator of everything material and spiritu-
al, to set in moon the material creaon. Lord Krishna expands the material 
energy meaning all the ingredients like earth, water, fire, air, space, mind, in-
telligence and ego and an infinite number of individual living enes from His 
own potencies. Then he instructs Brahma how to populate the universe with 
living enes that appear in different species and bodies and expand the ma-
terial nature. 
Brahma becomes the secondary creator. Lord Krishna is the primary creator. 
The sage Narada is one of the many sons of Lord Brahma. Narada has the 
power to go anywhere and everywhere in the material or spiritual world at his 
will. He can travel to the spiritual world and back to the earth in a few 
minutes. This is a manifestaon  of incredible mysc power due to his unal-
